Ramblings

Why did I start this blog? Well, I suppose I wanted an outlet for my writing, and I wanted to put down in words some of the thoughts I have about stuff. I have been told that my Facebook posts are quite entertaining, and the professor I had for one of my classes this semester (I am doing a Masters right now) said that she really enjoyed my writing, so here I am…

I am still planning exactly what I want to put on here, so let me get into some of Ed Sheeran’s favorite activity, “Thinking Out Loud”. My thoughts are that I will try to avoid overtly political stuff, but try to focus on observations, things that I like, that sort of thing.

Let me tell you something about me. I am fifty years old, I live in North Carolina, but I am originally from England. I grew up in Yorkshire, but I lived in Southampton and than Lancashire, before moving to sunny North Carolina. I am very happily married, and we have one daughter, aged almost 21, and two dogs.

I am a high school teacher, and as I said before, I am currently enrolled in a Masters program in Instructional Technology.
